The only beer museum in the country awaits its visitors with doors wide open and glasses full to the brim.
The Zagorka Brewery Museum boasts various authentic exhibits, which track the history of the famous malt liquor's brewing. The personal belongings of the first founder of the brewery, Dr. Konstantin Kozhuharov, are displayed in the exposition. The Museum owns the only collection of personal items of the first Braumeister (the first licensed brewer in Bulgaria) in the country. The visitors can see the first beer bottle from 1902, the year of the brewery's opening. Also on display are more than 15 kinds of different glasses, which were used throughout the years; an intact beer can with the first Bulgarian non-alcoholic beer 'Zagorka Vita,' which was exported to the Middle East, as well as dozens of interesting documents and photographs.
A visit of the Beer Museum includes a special tour of the degustation hall where beer lovers can try 'Zagorka' unpasteurized and unfiltered brew.
