Very few theaters boast such a curious and rich history.
The Theater's story starts before the Bulgarian Liberation. Some of the first local members of Vassil Levski's revolutionary committee were at the helm of the first theater company.
After the Liberation, the Theater lent its stage to the ingenious Bulgarian poet, cultural activist and translator Geo Milev. Already at the start of 20th century he was experimenting with theatrical forms.
The theater never stops improving and it holds an important place in the history of dramatic arts and theater events in the country. Today, the 'Geo Milev' Theater offers its visitors a rich and diverse program.
