You can combine a walk in one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the country, Ayazmoto, with a fun activity for all children. The Stara Zagora Zoo is located within the Park grounds and it is open for all visitors throughout the whole year.
Amid the beauty of the deer, the rumble of the monkeys and the perpetual play of the otters, the visitors will discover the species endemic to the country as well as exotic fauna from different parts of the world.
The Zoo boasts close to 400 animals from 80 different types of mammals, birds and reptiles. You can observe animals representing almost all continents: Europe with the brown bear, red deer, lynx, wolf and fox; Asia with the tiger and yak; North America with the raccoon; South America with the jaguar and lama; Africa with the lion and ostrich; Australia with the emu and parrots.
